My approach, my philosophy
I invite you to scroll through the photographs above (⬅ ➡) and think about two words: “Connection” & “Relationship”.
One thing I love about being a wedding photographer is that

The photographer must become absorbed, listen and watch, as the ‘actors’ enjoy playing their parts throughout the completely unique and original day. Absolutely, no wedding can be the same. All the people you see in the photographs on my website, imagine they are people you know. See your neighbour laughing with an old school friend, or your grandma meeting your husband or wife’s grandma for the first time (click HERE for an example of when that joyous moment happened!). There are so many different connections between the people who will join you on your wedding day and, as photographer, I subtly absorb these relationships as they play out in front of me for me to capture them through my lens.

I love people.
I love photographing people.
I love telling stories.
I love to become absorbed into a wedding day with all the people.
All the happy and crying and nervous and ecstatic people.
I feel the emotion.
And calmly capture it through my lens.
I will show you the memories later.
And perhaps you’ll feel it all again.
A photograph becomes more precious with time.
I love that.
I’m the chap in the middle. A spur of the moment shot taken on New Year’s Eve. The Last Supper or the year. I couldn’t not include it on here! :)
